Rice Speed, Power, and Agility Camp
Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM (CDT)
This camp is open to all athletes wanting to increase their speed, power, and agility. Ages 10-18.
In this camp we will learn warm ups, drills, and mental strategies to be the quickest athlete on the field. This is open to athletes from all sports!
5:10pm- Introduction to Warm up and Neuromusclar Activation Activities
5:30 pm- Acceleration and Power Concepts, Drills and Exercises
6:00pm- Multi Directional Concepts, Drills and Exercises
6:30pm- Maximum Speed Concepts, Drills and Exercises
6:50pm-Core Training, Feet Stregthening, and Cool Down Activities
7:10pm- Mental Skills (Goal Setting, Using Imagery, Problem Solving, Developing Concepts)
What to Bring: Sunscreen, snacks, training clothes and event shoes. Water and Gatorade will be provided.
Parking and Drop off: Drop off and Parking will be available at the Track and Field Stadium in gate 5 off of Main Street just north of University.
We will go rain or shine, and we will make adjustments for inclimate weather including heat.

This is a commuter camp. There are many quality hotels with in walking distance, and I would be happy to help arrange accomondations for out of town participants.
